inia is not a word... it is part of a word at best and certainly not a dictionary word...
you have to also realize that all because something is a scrabble word does not make it a good word in w.e.l.d.e.r.

We do very much realize that - in fact, if you read my post in this forum about slang and archaic words you'll see me making exactly the same point.
The reality is we get far, far, FAR more requests (via Twitter, email, reviews in the App Store etc.) to include the entire Scrabble dictionary/all of Merriam-Webster etc. than we do to remove words. Every word that is in the Scrabble dictionary that we don't have (and there are many) generates complaints from people who are frustrated in the moment that they tried to spell it and wasted swaps, and who don't care that adding that word may overall not be good for the game.
We do our best to balance these concerns, but really it is completely impossible to make everyone happy. We do our best!
Unfortunately "inia" is a word - it is the plural of "inion" which is the name of a bone in the skull.
I say unfortunately because I would love to take it out. It is exactly the worst kind of word for W.E.L.D.E.R. - it is a four letter word spelled with the most common letters that relatively few people will know. It is constantly spelled accidentally and annoying people. It is not even worth many points!
But if we took it out we would have to take out all the bones in the skull to be consistent, then all bones, and who wouldn't be annoyed to find that "patella" was missing?
Other word games do not have these problems.. W.E.L.D.E.R. is a unique game in that it finds words for you, you do not have to submit them. This is what creates the gameplay that so many people enjoy, but it also means that it is the only word game that adding more words to actually makes less fun to play. So, we have a unique word game that people love, and the price we pay is a permanent hum of dissatisfaction with the word list.
We will live with it!

Yes it is annoying when words are formed accidentally. But it makes the game all the more challenging and means you can learn new words
